ICC Awards 2022: ICC has announced all the awards for the year 2022. India’s Suryakumar Yadav and Renuka Singh have dazzled the ICC Awards this year. Suryakumar has been selected as the best T20 cricketer in the men’s category.

While Renuka Singh has become the Emerging Player of the Year (Emerging Player) in the women’s category. Pakistan’s Babar Azam has been selected as the best cricketer of the year in the male category. He won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Whereas, Nat Sciver won the Women’s Cricketer of the Year award and Rachael Hayhoe won the Flint Trophy.

Three players each from India have got a place in the ICC men’s and women’s T20 team. At the same time, only Rishabh Pant could make a place in the Test team. Three women players have got a place in the ODI team. Here we are telling about the winners of each award.

Suryakumar Yadav Best Male T20 ‘Cricketer of the Year 2022’

India’s star cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has been selected by the ICC as the best T20 cricketer of the year 2022. In the year 2022, Suryakumar scored 1164 runs in 31 T20 matches at an average of 46.56 and a strike rate of 187.43.

Women’s Cricketer of the Year

Male Cricketer of the Year

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been selected as the Cricketer of the Year for the year 2022. Babar Azam scored 2598 runs in 44 matches for Pakistan in 2022 at an average of 54.12. During this, eight centuries and 15 half-centuries came out of his bat.

ICC Spirit of Cricket Award

Asif Sheikh of Nepal has been given the Spirit of Cricket Award. Asif refused to run out McBrine in the match against Ireland. After this he was praised a lot and now the ICC has also honored him.
