Wedding bells are ringing for Teen Mom 2’s Jade Kline and Sean Austin. The stars of the MTV reality show are now engaged, which Kline confirmed in a video posted on her TikTok on Thursday.
“Our happiness has just begun,” the 25-year-old reality TV personality wrote via TikTok along with a video of the proposal on Thursday, September 1.
“So glad we can (finally) share this! I’ll be Mrs. Austin in October 2023, we worked for it and I’m proud of where we are. Love lasts forever.”

The Indiana native’s post comes just hours after MTV released the first trailer for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, which featured a short clip of Austin proposing.
“We’ve been engaged since the first week of July but we waited (to share the news) because we didn’t want to ruin the clip for the new season,” Kline said later that day via her Instagram Story. Told a fan.
She said that she and Austin — who welcomed daughter Chloe in 2017 — had already started planning for the big day. “We are already locked in our venue. S-t getting real LOL,” wrote Kline. “[We want it to be] super elegant but def [has] October vibes.”
Two years after Kline gave birth to their daughter, she and Austin broke up amid their substance abuse issues. In March, he confirmed during an Instagram Live that he had checked in for treatment for his addiction a year earlier.

At the time he said, “That’s what I need to find at the end of the day … and come to terms with things I haven’t come up with.” “(I) had to get my chest s-t what I didn’t know I needed to get off my chest and remove whatever I had buried for so long.”
Later that month, Kline revealed that she and Austin had rekindled their romance after returning from treatment. “The journey we have shared has brought us very close. I am so happy and proud of you,” the Teen Mom star wrote via Instagram in March.
“You are a phenomenal person and father. You have grown a lot over the years and many people are by your side. Sharing this journey with the world shows your strength, dedication, and resilience.”
She continued: “Proud to stand by you, I always knew who you were. Glad everyone can see it now. I love you.”
